Saturday October 4th 2014

This saturday night will be the first night of the cookbook club gathering. We got together a little while back and choose this great cookbook which has a restaurants here in london called POLPO! Their venues are brilliant in every facet, if you ever have the chance.

There are six members, and we have all chosen a few things from this lovely cookbook to make this saturday night. We of course are letting our other halves join in on the fine dinning we each will be presenting.. So please stay tuned for images and recipes to follow..


I have hunted down all my ingredients for my 2 dishes for tomorrow nights supper! I have chosen Cod Cheeks, Lentils & Salsa Verde plus Warm Autumn Fruits With Amaretto Cream for my divine dishes.

Most people have chosen 2 recipes from the cookbook, here is a small taste of what there will be to come- Braised Ox Cheeks, Beet-Cured Salmon, Zucchini, Basil & Parmesan Salad, and Chocolate Salami!

All sounding very mouth watering to me, how about y’all? Ready steady, GO!
